Jester Politics News Roundup for August 25, 2023

Jester Politics News Roundup for August 25, 2023 Uniting America one indictment at a time.  With each indictment more and more Americans of all races are rallying around Trump.  Why?  Seems no one likes using the government to politically persecute your political opponents.  Also, from what I’m reading and hearing, many in the Black community know firsthand about police overreach, and are turning out to support Trump because they seem him as a victim.  This could be devastating for Biden, if not the entire Democratic.   Maui Fires.  At this time the death toll from the Maui fires has been confirmed to be at least 115, with what is being reported as over 1,000 still missing.  The state and federal government’s response has not only been atrociously bad, but in the case of the Hawaiian government criminally inept.  There are now credible reports that Hawaiian state officials barricaded the roads out of Lahaina and forced residents back into town – where many died. The governor of Hawaii and Mayor of Maui have refused to disclose how many children have died in the fire and how many are still missing.  I won’t speculate on the actual number, but based on parent’s statements, I believe it is high, very high. I urge everyone to write or email their federal elected officials and demand an investigation – a real investigation – be opened, the purpose of which is to hold those who made the decisions that resulted in these unnecessary deaths liable for their actions.  Criminally liable where appropriate. Contact information for all U.S. Senators can be found at Jester Politics.   Canada brings Mao’s Reeducation Camps into the 21st Century:  “Jordan Peterson Ordered by Canadian Court to Undergo Reeducation.”  I can’t think of any things scarier than the government ordering citizens to undergo reeducation for engaging in free speech.   This is Yuge: Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Russian mercenary group Wagner has been killed.  Prigozhin, a one-time caterer and small time criminal, established and led the Wagner Private Military Company (PMC), a polite term for “mercenary organization.”  Under Prigozhin, Wagner became Russia’s premier mercenary group armed with the latest Russian weapons from tanks and artillery to helicopters and jets.  Putin used Wagner as his proxy army in Syria, Africa, and Ukraine.  As Wagener’s star rose Prigozhin became a close ally of Putin…until he wasn’t. In June Prigozhin led Wagner on a short-lived rebellion.  Surprisingly the two came to terms and publicly all seemed well. It was not.  On August 23, 2023, Prigozhin, along with several other high-ranking Wagner members were assassinated when Prigozhin’s private jet exploded while in route to Saint Petersburg, Russia.  There is little to no doubt it was an assignation with the smart money being on Putin ordering it – he’s not known for his forgiving nature. We at Jester Politics are still sorting through the possible consequences of Prigozhin’s assassination – he had what appears to be significant support among the Russian civilian population as well as within the military.  We’ll have an article up early next week once we finish looking at the possible ramifications.  All we can say right now is the consequences of the assassination can range from contained discontent among the population to civil unrest or worse.  Some Russian Social Media channels that cover the Russian military, and seem to have more than a few high-level military contacts, are talking about armed rebellion. Two good articles on Prigozhin and the Wagner rebellion are “A Russian Coup?” and “The Russian Rebellion: The End, Or The End Of The Beginning?.”   What is wrong with the world?  “German daycares introduce “sexual exploration rooms” with rules for children to “pet and explore each other” while nude.”  They do have some rules – no licking or inserting objects in other children.  Lord help us.   Aliens are diabolical little freaks!  The reason we haven’t been able to see alien space-ships, is because the aliens have used our technology to “cloak” their ships.   Joe Biden’s energy department proposes a crackdown on ceiling fans.  Perhaps before tackling the nonexistent problem of celling fans, Biden and his Department of Energy could tackle the real problem of gas prices?   Who would have thought that the rockers of the 60s and 70s would become the voices of wisdom in 2023, yet here we are.  Alice Copper and Carlos Santana both came out against “gender affirming” surgeries for children.  Santana went a bit further.               Jester Politics thrives on the generous contributions of people like you.
