Xavier Becerra Can’t Say How Many Facilitated Abortions Have Been Performed on Migrant Girls.”   Harvard Man David Hogg Discovers White Women Are Responsible For Gun Crime!  Well, to be fair, now he’s discovered that everything and everyone except for the criminals are responsible for gun crime.   Rut Roh, Harvard Man David Hogg won’t be happy: U.S. District Court Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk (Northern District of Texas) blocked the ATF from enforcing its ban on AR-15 style “pistols” equipped with arm braces.  Importantly, this ruling enjoins the ATF from enforcing its rule making these firearms subject to the National Firearms Act nationwide.  No happy dance yet, I expect this to end up before the Supreme Court.  The Judge Kacsmaryk’s Memorandum and Order can be found here.   Don’t be surprised, it’s in Seattle: Treehouse with no electricity, septic or bathrooms for sale – asking only $230,000.  As an added bonus, it was built without obtaining a permit so there’s that.  Alas, there is no information on the closest gas station restrooms.   Are universities starting to crack down on anti-Semites?  Seems so, at least a little.  U. Chicago arrested students and two faculty members engaging in a pro-Palestinian sit-in, in the admissions office. Brandeis University banned the student organization “Students for Justice in Palestine” (SJP) and Florida has ordered its state universities to disband all SJP chapters on those campuses for the same reason.  However, antisemitism is still rampant on our college campuses including death threats, physical assaults, and antisemitic slurs being thrown at Jewish students.  It is nothing less than shocking and must be stopped immediately.   Disgusted but not shocked: “One In Five Democrats Side With Hamas.”   That number increases to 21% of those who describe themselves as liberal.  Given our university faculties are dominated by liberals, it’s not surprising that antisemitism is rampant on our campuses.   Antisemitism is not limited to our campuses but is running rampant throughout American society.  The latest of many examples: a pro-Palestinian mob attack Jews as they left L.A.’s Museum of Tolerance after a screening of Hamas’s October 7 atrocities.  The irony of this mob action is that it occurred on the night of November 9, 2023 – the 85th anniversary of the “Kristallnacht” (the Night of the Broken Glass) – when Nazis mobs went on a rampage against Jews, their property, and their synagogues.  Why is it the violent Nazi like atrocities seem to come from the left?   Oh my, FBI agents stopped NYC Mayor Adams in the street and seized his cellphones and iPad.  Adams’ response?  “I have nothing to hide.”  Seems President Nixon aka “Tricky Dick” said the same about the Watergate.  Wonder if it will end better for Adams that Tricky Dick?   More good news from the world of EVs: “Best Way to Extinguish a Flaming Electric Vehicle? Let It Burn.”   No Good Deed Goes Unpunished.  The biggest YouTuber in the world, Mr. Beast, just did an amazing act of charity.  He used his resources to undertake an eight-month project in which he built 100 wells in Kenya, Cameroon, Uganda, Zimbabwe, and Somalia. It’s estimated that these wells will bring clean water to 500,000 people who had only dirty and polluted water before. For his efforts many on the left are criticizing him for embarrassing the government of Kenya and furthering the ‘stereotype’ that Africa is poor and relies on “handouts” from the west.  First, Africa is poor, second Africa does rely on western aid, and third the governments of Kenya, and the other four countries should be embarrassed.  For the love of that’s holy, a youtuber did in eight months what these governments have never been able to do, or wouldn’t do – bring clean drinking water to these people. I would think “Mr. Beast” would be thanked and not vilified…   Riddle me this, if the economy is doing so good, why are so many people charging so much?  “Credit card balances spiked in the third quarter to a $1.08 trillion record.”   Right thought, wrong reasons: “Pro-Palestinian Protesters Demand NY Times be Shut Down.”   Have we learned nothing from COVID?  “America’s frightening new bat lab: $12m taxpayer-funded NIH research facility in Colorado will import bats from Asia and infect them with deadly diseases – in project with China-linked scientists.”  Why is Congress funding this nonsense?   Jester Politics thrives on the generous contributions of people like you.
