This seems to be big “Democrats Warned Not To Register Young Voters, ‘They’re Going to Vote for Trump.’”  For as long as I can remember the conventional wisdom was that increasing voter registration among young voters in general and young Black and Hispanic voters in particular benefited the Democrats.  Now polling is showing that may not be true anymore.  In fact, Aaron Strauss, “an influential data scientist, warned major Democratic donors in a confidential memo that has since been obtained by the Washington Post to refrain from registering young and black voters ahead of the 2024 election. Why? Because they’re likely going to vote for Trump.”

While this is good news, it is not a slam dunk – a lot can change in the seven months between now and the election, so keep working to get Biden unelected.

The best troll ever that exposes the “I identify as” scam, or if you prefer “exposing the scam one zoom call at a time.”

Yea, that is not how things work: “Michigan mayor says he’s been asked to stop the eclipse.”  Michigan must have some really bad public schools…

When everything is racist nothing is racist: “Mandatory ASU course teaches journalism students that asking ‘Where are you from?’ is racist.”  And journalists wonder why people laugh at them.

It’s a shame the chaos within society requires us to provide school security, but it does.  So, given the reality this is one tool to ensure students remain safe from the crazies we allow to run free: “Tennessee Moves Closer to Empowering Teachers with the Right to Carry Firearms for School Defense.”  It is certainly a much better alternative than advocating to usurp the Constitution by ignoring the Second Amendment.

Is there nothing ‘climate change’ can’t do? “How climate change is hitting vulnerable Indonesian trans sex workers.”  I’m so old I did not even know “Indonesian trans sex workers” was a thing.

I am sure J.K. Rowling and I differ on many issues; however, she is an honest person with well-thought-out positions and for that she has my respect.  One issue we agree on is transwomen in society, which when boiled to its basics is:  we hope transwomen have a happy life, but they cannot take from women to achieve that goal, so they must stay out of women’s spaces, and sports.  Also, the activists must leave the kids alone!  As should be expected, Ms. Rowlings expressed her positions and beliefs exceptionally well.

Young people are starting to turn away from college and turning to the trades and trade schools.

Hopefully, Trump will try something new and pick a great running mate: “Tim Scott leads black Republicans to court support for Trump amid VP speculation”  Senator Scott is certainly a great candidate, but he is not the only great one on the Republican bench.

Interesting happenings in the Ivy league: is Yale Law School leading them back from the far left?  I wouldn’t be giving odds yet, but it is a promising development.

Ooops, looks like Yale Law School is going to need some help; “Harvard Law School “scrubs ‘How to Blow Up a Pipeline’ film info from website.”  Seems someone was concerned about appearing to endorse violence.  This may be a legitimate concern given that the “Take Action” page on the film’s website “displays a map of U.S. oil and gas pipelines and a message about legislation and anti-fossil fuel activism.”  Is this film and advertisement protected speech under the First Amendment?  It most certainly is.  However, I believe an ‘elite’ Law School should refrain from engaging in such speech. 

 

It is unclear whether the film’s screening was cancelled or if it went ahead as planned and just the advertisement on Harvard Law School’s website was removed.

This is not the Zombie Apocalypse I was promised: “Hyper-sexual ‘zombie cicadas’ that are infected with sexually transmitted fungus expected to emerge this year.” 

I just want a doctor that knows how to do doctor stuff and leave the Mama Earth stuff to pagans and such.  “UCLA med school students recite prayer to ‘Mama Earth’ in mandatory ‘structural racism’ class.”

Speaking of doctors: “‘I am a sociopath and I love it’: DR PATRIC GAGNE has strangled a cat, broken into homes and stabbed a child in the head – all while feeling no guilt or shame. Now she’s a psychologist who says everyone should be like her…”  And people wonder why our young have so many mental issues.

We’re being lied to: “The True Cost of Wind and Solar.”

It’s from the Babylon Bee so it’s satire…it is satire, right?  “Democrats Warn Parents To Quickly Transition Their Kids Before They Grow Out Of It.”

Inequality in the name of equity “Seattle Public Schools throws away gifted students program due to ‘historical inequity’”

Pocket change: “Brand new Palm Beach property right next door to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago hits the market for $45M – complete FREE membership to Don’s club.”  Or an alternative headline – free house when you purchase a $45 million golf membership…
