Why are there two days in the U.S. set aside to recognize Veterans – Memorial Day (honors our fallen) and Veterans Day (honors all Vets), but four months and 14 days set aside to recognize the LGBT community (March – Bisexual Health Awareness Month; October – LGBT History Month; June – LGBT Pride Month; and August – Transgender History Month, (a CA designation)).
