1 Fifteen Questions I Have Pondered But Found No Answers. Why is it that so many who claim to support the Palestinians wear the red and white Jordanian keffiyeh and not the black and white Palestinian keffiyeh? Why can trans people be offended when people don’t use their “pronouns,” but non-trans people cannot be offended by being told to use pronouns they find offensive? Why is it that people who have no facts to support their statements call those who do stupid? Why do people who take out a loan to go to college think it’s right to have those who did not go to college pay off their college loans? Why do so many men who cannot get a date with a woman decide to identify as a woman who happens to be a lesbian? Why are Naval Aviators kickass cool and Air Force Pilots merely cool? Why is there a group called “Queers for Palestine” in the states, but not one in Palestine? Why do so many who send their kids to private school oppose school choice? Why can NASA use science to draw a Pride flag but can’t use science to get back to the moon? Why are there two days in the U.S. set aside to recognize Veterans – Memorial Day (honors our fallen) and Veterans Day (honors all Vets), but four months and 14 days set aside to recognize the LGBT community (March – Bisexual Health Awareness Month; October – LGBT History Month; June – LGBT Pride Month; and August – Transgender History Month, (a CA designation)). Why do people who don’t live in Arizona insist on telling us who do that “it’s a dry heat?” Why do you have to show your ID to checkout a book from a public library, but in many states, you don’t have to show your ID to vote? Why must a U.S. citizen have federally approved identification to fly but an illegal migrant does not? Why do so many people immigrate to a country in order to have a better life, and then demand their new country adopt the ways of the country they left? Why is it so many who have never served in the military, so often demand that we commit our troops to wars? Jester Politics thrives on the generous contributions of people like you.
