Senator Kelly and His Dangerous Clown Commandos.
The disingenuous and dangerous clown commander Senator Kelly (D-AZ) and his four clowns and clownettes – Sen. Slotkin (D-MI); Rep. DeLuzio (D-PA); Rep. Houlahan (D-PA); and Rep. Crow (D-CO) – four military Vets and an Intelligence officer – recently released a video telling members of the military that they do not have to obey illegal orders. That statement is correct…as far as it goes, and if that was all they said in the video, then there would be no outrage. However, they said much more.
It is clear that the intent of the video is to undermine the legitimate authority of the President as Commander-and-Chief of our military. The statements made leading up to the call to refuse to follow what they describe as “illegal orders” is:
“this administration is pitting our uniformed military and intelligence community professionals against American citizens…the threats to our Constitution aren’t just coming from abroad but from right here at home…”
They are clearly accusing Trump and his Administration of engaging in illegal acts. However, not once in the video, nor in the days that followed, did they provide a single example of the Trump Administration “pitting” the military and intel community against the American people, nor did they point to a single order they believe was illegal. Instead, they pounded their chest and yelled ‘how dare you question me, I’m a veteran and a patriot!’
That argument is nothing more than the droppings of a four legged male bovine.
All Vets deserve respect for serving, regardless of what they do after serving. However, being a Veteran does not make one all knowing, nor does it in-and-of-itself make one qualified to hold elected office. Hell, as much as I wish it was not true, not all Vets are patriots…does Benedict Arnold ring a bell?
Yes, I believe being a Vet is a big plus, I happen to be one myself. Among many other things it provided me with the self-discipline and experiences that allowed me to gain the knowledge (such as it is) that I have today. However, being a Vet does not put me, or anyone else, above being held accountable for making stupid, and in the case of Senator Kelly and his clown gang, dangerous statements that can do nothing but undermine our nation. If any of these five clowns have any evidence that Trump has issued illegal orders or that he is using the military against the American people then they must:
- Immediately make that evidence public; and more importantly
- Immediately initiate impeachment proceedings.
If they do not have any evidence to back up their claims, which they do not, then they should apologize to the American people for endangering our Republic and resign immediately.
Of course being self-centered people concerned more with gaining and retaining power and prestige, the five clowns will do neither. And therein lies the tragedy – four military Vets and an Intel person all lack the honor to resign for attempting to undermine the Constitution they admit taking an oath to defend.
